2008 Information:
Mark you Calendars for Sunday, November 30th,
2008, for the 13th Annual RTP Christmas Tubas. This year will be
playing from 2-4 pm at
the RDU
Airport
main parking deck in the atrium n ear
the tunnel to terminal A. Since
this is such a busy day for the airport, you should give yourselves
plenty of time to deal with traffic and parking. You may have to
park in a remote lot and take a shuttle, however, we have been
promised exit passes for parking. Come on out
and join us!
Please bring a chair, your music stand, your music, a Santa hat, and a smile.
Dress in layers, because the area is covered but not heated. We will be playing selections from Carols for a Merry TubaChristmas,
Volume II, which is available from the TubaChristmas
organization (order form available at: http://www.tubachristmas.com/merchandise.htm). We will have a few extra copies but please bring
your own copy if possible. As is our tradition, we will play mostly
from the following play list.
